LOL Thibault did his thing, as we all know. It's all very admirable and I applaud his attitude here.
Nonetheless it's worth noting that at various points, complaints about racism have been met here with the attitude that lichess believes in free speech.
So however much I agree with Thibault's reaction to the OP, I find it a bit weird that free speech only applies when the moderators feel like it and that there is a complete lack of coordination about deciding that which is or is not acceptable.
I asked one mod to remove accounts that had names such as "Jewkiller" or racist biogs and he/she basically told me to get lost. I asked another, who mailed me saying how horrified he was about this and he sorted out the problem immediately.
#10 I've not found the Iranians to be friendlier or less so than anyone else. There are certain traits one notices - some countries' players seem to rage quit more than others etc. I personally don't care WHO I beat lol.
