For those, who think that speed is crucial in hyperbullet.

Those, who think that speed is the main thing, an essence of hyperbullet, are very very wrong.

So what have I done.

I've bought a gaming mouse. Have bought a mat for it.

I set my computer to work at the worst graphics, resolution, to get the most smooth movements of pieces, reduce some freezing.

I was training precise mouse movements, so I have learned to move pieces fast and on a long distance.

I was training my reaction. Got very good results. My reaction has improved.

I moved on Ethernet cable from WiFi. So my ping became a bit better, I lose less time out of lag.

So what?
Has my level of playing actually increased?
Maybe, 50 points higher it feels for me.

Just 50 points!

As you can see, speed doesn't help you much. The only thing which can really improve your hyperbullet is chess skills.
You already had the high speed movement, enough to get you to your rating. Now with the new mouse you can make only a small difference....
Speed is the most important part of bullet... I know when I was starting chess on this site, my classical was 1500, but bullet was about 1750-1800 because I played it much and I was fast, now my classical is 2100+ but because I am slow I cant get bullet to 1800.... And the quality of my games is 10x better than then when my bullet was higher, only difference is speed.
...50 is a lot. A mouse being worth 50 rating points shows how important a good mouse is.

"Speed" includes more than just your mouse, as well. It includes processing speed; it includes how fast you think of moves. A mentally fast player with a bad mouse is more than a match for a mentally slow player with a gaming mouse.

So 1) your 50 points is evidence that mouse speed IS crucial in hyperbullet 2) the other kinds of speed a chess player can have are even more crucial in hyperbullet
There is a psychological advantage you have also. The advantage comes from the fact that you feel more comfortable with the new mouse/ethernet than you did before. I always seem to win more games or do better if I use my chess set in OTB games along with the clock on the side I want and the openings I like. It might not be true I do better but it feels like it and that often times is enough to make you win more even if it only helps 1%. Also you could have just improved. Nonetheless congratulations!
I am as slow as you can get with the mouse and I can get round 2300 in hyperbullet. Speed is important for sure, but it might be overvalued by some
