Interest in chess at an all-time low, any thoughts?

Yes it makes a lot of sense, I gave it up for about 11 years.

Even now after a run of rotten results I am going to give it a short break lol.

The idea of stopping, right now, for however long, sounds to me to be a decent one.

Please don't wait until you are really really sick of it. Now sounds like a good time.
