Your chess story!

OK, I was wondering if some people can volunteer and write about their chess experience in a format like this ( points can be added or removed)
1)Average Rating(real or here)-
2)How do you feel playing a 200+ rated opponent
3)How do you feel playing a 200- rated opponent
4)Problems that prevent you from going up quickly
5)Any other comment
For example, this is mine--- :3
1)1400-1450
2) Openings are not much of a problem but in the middlegame I must be extra cautious as the opponent will never miss a hanging piece or major error. Sometimes I get stuck thinking of a move to make.
3)Quite easy. I can relax and play. I usually wait for them to make a big blunder in the late opening or middlegame. They seem to develop pieces poorly most of the time.
4) Impatience and poor speed in bullets. I seem to have a major problem playing x+0 games. I can never premove btw. And if 20 seconds are remaining, I am almost sure to lose if the mate is not very obvious.
5) playing with a much higher rated opponents(eg-maxami) my rating has obviously improved. I am not sure how, but it did and I can see it. :D

//Please contribute your thoughts. ^^
1. My lichess classical rating (provisional) 1925
2. When I am playing a 2100 to 2200 player (rare here on lichess, but not so rare OTB) I am generally nervous, but still able to play as aggressively as possible. I try to take them out of their game, and often succeed in taking me out of my game too; this contributes to nerves. Sometimes I will go 'on tilt' if I feel like I should be winning more games, such as when I blunder, or don't see the opponent's blunder, or when I go down on time.
3. Playing weaker players is what I am usually doing here on lichess: most stronger players won't play me. I have no problems playing folks in the 1800 range. I often feel they are well-matched.
4. Not playing rated games is my biggest issue with raising my rating.
5. I wish more experts/master rated lichess players would give me a casual game or two... I find a lot of players either aborting right off or simply not giving me a game.

Lichess is telling me that my 'text is too short'. WTF?
1. 2000 USCF 2200 online
2. I enjoy playing higher rated as I can play aggressively without worrying about being blamed for losing.
3. I am nervous as they have something to prove or may be on an upswing and are underrated. I tend to relax too much and this causes me games.
4. I am too lazy to study. I have few opportunities to play serious chess. One or two tournaments a year; seven games.
5. My ADHD is really catching up with me. I find it hard to play these fast games, because they are mostly cheap shots. I don't have the attention span to play long games online.
1) ~2200 USCF, 2300 Lichess
2) Playing stronger players is a comfortable position to be in. It also brings out the best in my own play.
3) It's fine, but puts me in uncomfortable positions, especially in tournaments. I alter my playing style to avoid draws, which can sometimes backfire.
4) I don't do much proper study, and fail to implement ideas I've learned in real games, so although I have a bit more knowledge, it hasn't always helped me play better. Also, I live ~200 miles from any big chess areas, so finding tournaments to play stronger players is difficult.
5) If you want to improve, the best thing you can do is get out to tournaments. It is also the most fun part of chess IMO, getting to meet other chess players and go to new places.
1) 79
2) All of the opponents I've played have been at least 200
3) I didn't think someone could be rated -200
4) Well, that's an awfully personal question
5) Just lick it.
1)2100 On lichess and 1500 Dutch youth rating, altough this is not correct as it is still rising after 2 years with 60 points a month
2)Rating does not interest me for example i played an OTB game against a 1800 and won after a few hours. I play the position not the game! http://nl.lichess.org/g09QkMm0#91
3)I feel like i am in a mental state of must win
4)Playing too few long long games I may have only played about 30 in the last year which is about the max but still not a lot
5)Nothing here
1. On here it seems to vary between about 1950 and 2000.
It was about 165 BCF, that is British rating, but that was 10-12 years ago.
2. I feel fine playing anyone up to about 2200, after that however they just seem to see any play I might have before I do and stop it before it even starts.
3. There are many good players below 2000 here , less nervous though perhaps when playing them. I messed up a winning position against a 2300+ player in a simul because I got soooo nervous.
4. Too many silly blunders after having played well, very frustrating lol
5. It would be nice if we could play some games against the best players here, as a small group perhaps, and have them explain where we went wrong after we lose lol.
@Larissburg

Somewhat unrelated to that thread, I just looked at your game and I'd like to give some feedback.

You had a really pretty position out of the opening, but black didn't play too well. Around 19.Nb2 it looks like white should be slightly better. It's a typical kings indian position - the queenside is pretty much blocked and white has free range to start an attack on the kingside. From there it went downhill.

First of all, 18.Nc4?! was probably a mistake. From b2, the knight controlls all important squares a4 and c4. After 18.Nc4 you just allow him to start counterplay for nothing. 18.f4! is unpleasant, already threatening 19.f5 next move.

Your second mistake was 22.Bxb4?? - Every Kings Indian player would shudder at such a move. You should never ever give up that black-squared bishop in such a position! it's a very important piece, both for attacking the king and defending your weak black squares. 22.Nxe5 Nxe5 23. fxe5 was probably still equal, although the position is still very complicated.

hope that helps.

F*** your questions, I'll tell MY story MY way...

I was born in Stockholm in 1973. While still a baby I was kidnapped by wolves and taken to the Northern Mountain. There they taught me chess and the ways of the world. The Alpha Wolf offered to play a game of chess for my freedom. The game ended when I tore his throat out with my teeth and spit his dead flesh into the wind . Although this made ME the new Alpha I was done with being a wolf forever.

I caught on with a traveling Circus in Sumatra. My job was to play blindfold Atomic Simuls with the Tarsier Monkeys. Not for the show, just to keep the monkeys sharp. I soon fell in love with a local Sumartratian Woman named Jennifer. We spent every night together playing board games like Connect-4 and Monopoly but NEVER Chess. One day I asked for her hand in marriage and she replied that I could have it if I beat her in a game of chess. I played a dubious line in the Dutch and lost quickly. I would never see my beloved Jennifer again....

After that I knew I needed a new beginning so I moved to Suriname and tried to put my shattered life back together. My experience with Monkeys came in handy and I was able to quickly create a successful carpet-cleaning business. This allows me to live comfortably I suppose, but not a day goes by that I don't think of Jennifer and that dubious line in the Dutch. My face grows red with anger when I hear chess-players say that opening preparation is overacted. Those Fools! I suppose they will have to learn the hard way as I did.
