And funny thing is , as a proof of how bad I am , he sent me some hyperbullet game where I got check-mated by a 2300 player :D

Negative rating is possible. :) If you resign to a player with negative rating, you will lose a huge amount of points.

But practically negative rating can be made only artificially. By a lot of resigning.
