Lichess Tip Central forum

Welcome to the Lichess Tip Central forum!
Only members of the team can post here, but everybody can read.
We will try to keep a minimum of threads but not less. If more threads are needed than can be visible on first page with sticky on (10-12?), then we will undergo the budding yeast cycle of creating new team forum with most developed thread (proposal).
Style guide:
- make posts modular for deletion (also known as editing beyond the 3 hours limit).
- never delete 1st post of thread (also known as deleting thread) unless you really mean it.

Now this post is not formatted. just principal messages. can be spread out many posts. when finding right format.
todos:
- think hub, central place linking to existing, not necessary to redo what is well done, can always be redone later, anyway.
- for all topics, try to link as many existing major links to other lichess link-able early in the thread.
- "tips for management" from CSS team original, link and or summary, and complement.
- "tips about Study features" gather existing as links.
- other tips about any feature not grouped yet
- find compact topic nomenclature most practical
- Finding the right thread title before end, as changing it === deleting whole thread and re-create (not fun).
- Also care should be taken in the first post of each thread, as can't be changed by delete-recreate method.
- use this first thread as non-content sub-forum. transitory place for material, things not yet ripe for full fledged topic (thread). rules, style guide.
- discuss in PM if not sure. otherwise, if need persistence (without deferring) keep posts modular as suggested above.

Please use this thread to test ideas. or discuss any of the above. Already not abiding by own style of modular. post too big.
Studies. links to existing threads containing tips.

problem. should i?

create a feedback main forum thread about Study Tag ambiguities or orthographic variants not being merges

same idea with more general topic title
e.g. existence of Lichess chosen protected Tags, orthographic variants could attach to, or some 2 tag system like on steam (user and lichess, up to study creator to chose the double coordinate could allow for nuance-ing user categories, but still allow complete listing of main lichess Tag global meaning. could have priorities in search or two box.

Create some index or TOC of similar Tags.

Divulge or ask to create some gluing syntax (Boolean) in Studies search box. (I would create my own search combos shortcuts, perhaps the URL records search parameters...
Topic Ideas:
(as alternative to solutions candidates from post #6, further brainstorming and ambitious ideas)

Create a "Tips Wanted" thread, where members can add or request well defined lichess feature Tip hunts, searches, or experiments, if they can't find it anywhere, allowing other member to point to this team forum existing solutions, as a second fail-safe TOC for any content already in our TOCs, Topics, or otherwise Threads. Or an index of our tips, an index of lichess main forums tips (or other team forum inside posts or thread existing tips, with our one liner title).

Post #6 could be some posts on the thread (possibly each solutions options its own post for modular exchanges, allowing future surgical cleaning. (reminder: this post for example once moot, because dealt with would disappear (and backed up if needed again).

Post #6 could be its own thread. again modular posts within. Or better title thread about Study Tags Tips (existing info, and request for info, or feature ideas and their feasibility could be discussed (modular, again for restraining thread expansion to many pages).
