Spreadshirt sketchiness

I placed an order through the swag store about two months ago. A week or so later I received an email that said my order was delayed but on its way.

Two more weeks pass and I inquired about my order. This time they tell me that the item has been discontinued. It seemed strange that they would tell me a discontinued item was on its way, but they offered a refund and said it would take 3-5 days.

That was more than three weeks ago. I have not received a refund.

Maybe this is a one-off. If anyone else has had problems with Spreadshirt I hope Lichess will reconsider the relationship.
Thanks @rosquet for sharing your feedback about Spreadshirt and for supporting us by checking out our merch. I'm sorry to hear you've been having some frustrating issues getting it, though! Spreadshirt is one of the biggest merch companies in the world - they handle all our orders, customer admin, and shipping for us, which is very convenient for us given our small team, but on the flip-side it means we have little insight or control over their processes.

It'd be great if you could get in touch with me privately (you can DM me on Lichess) so I can get some more information from you to check out your Spreadshirt order. We'll make sure your issue gets fixed one way or another :)

I'm not aware of this being a frequent issue with Spreadshirt judging from other people who have got in touch with us about merch in the past. But if this is something happening frequently, we'd always love to hear that from anyone affected.
