No sound (firefox)

hi, I have no sound suddenly.
Wanted to change the sound .. no sound anymore.
Unless the Pentatonic-sound.. but only when the game has finished.
On Chrome .. sound works.
I cleared the cache etc.. did not help.

It's 57.0.1 (64-bit) on Gentoo-Linux.

It's kinda unplayable like that :)

I had this problem with Firefox too. Try clearing the cache. With Chrome this problem never appeared.

that did not help .. BUT .. browsing in private-mode - there I have sound. I can also log-in there and have sound.

Disabling everyhing did not help either.
Maybe making up a new profile or so.. but that would be nasty - but no other choice I guess.
Using the private windows - just for lichess is no option either.

Perhaps you selected the sound-pack as "Silent"? Changing it to SFX or NES will help.

Firefux is just a buggy Browser. Use Chrome.

Opened a new profile now (firefox --ProfileManager or something like that) ........ works again now.
