There are some many beatiful matingpatterns. With a pawn or example smothered mate. But i think that is kind of boring and not the most difficult one. It's kinda simple. I had a fischergame once, that i could mate with pawn early in the game because of kingwalk and the opponents queen had to put his queen to block the check, so i could choose to mate him with the pawn when i took his queen, or take with the bishop, but then it is'nt mate, so i took with the bishop because i had forced mate in the following up continuation. So i had many discoreving checks with rook, queen and bishop...and till the end i could choose to mate him in two ways. I had 2,5 seconds left.
So discovering checkmate are one of my absolute favorite.
In other game i've played i had forced mate after queen saq...The queen had to be taken but when its taken its mate when i take back again with rook.
In general mating with forced checkmate by piecesaq(s) is also my absolute favorite.
