I recommend reading Vogue if you want to become a fashionista like me.
Jack London's books are also great if you prefer trips rather than Kafka's depressive atmospheres. I also recommend Hemingway
Night by Elie Wiesel is a very good book. I'd argue even it has a lot of things cut out though -- almost nothing can show the true horror of the Holocaust.
