Better idea: instead of playing with black and white pieces, every piece should be see-through. No colors to make sure race doesn't matter! What's that, now you don't know which piece belongs to who? Tough luck!

As much as I find any kind of bigotry or racism utterly abhorrent, what do you suggest?
Change the pieces to blue & red to satisfy the bullshit that is democracy?
People need to wake up to the democracy and not the ethnicity, this is what is dividing us.
From race to region, to religion, to sports teams, to states, etc -all forms of democratic division to keep us occupied whilst government barrels on taking away our rights, freedoms and liberty.
