Could you make a preference option to disable + 15 seconds?

Is it or would it be possible to have a standard opening statement ( or phrase) that is put into the chat field every time you start a game. Then you should be able to tell your opponent your preferences - without the need to type a lot?
Do you not like the plus 15 seconds, because I'm a little confused about what you are asking.
The argument as it stands Teata.....Lat5 wants the option of playing games without his opponent offering time. The reason is that Lat5 thinks it is distracting. The counter argument is that - it can be distracting but if both players are enjoying the game, then why shouldn't they be able to extend the game.....
It's basically another option......an option not to have an option.....So that's why it's a bit confusing....I think :D
Teata is echoing a suggestion I made but his/ her idea is BETTER: A std note you could insert before the clock starts indicating that you do not want extra time
Do you really think it's a good idea to force everyone you play against to see a message that you wrote?

Not only would people disregard it (or even antagonize against it), but this has potential psychological implications...

I could write "You are a loser and a failure" and have THAT displayed every time someone plays against me.

I'm thinking Isaiah means an automated pop up box just summarising the rules agreed to when you take on the game....Certainly that would be a reasonable suggestion if more options were going to be implemented....
Or even as you're suggesting - a pop up box of the profile of the person that you're about to play with a few of their words- why not? If there is something truly offensive then it'd be noted as such?
